So I simmed a season and went to the draft, picked up several players and went through to see if each player had a random batting stance and sadly they do not, every player had generic one stance. Now I know I can edit players and all but who would want to edit every single player on every team. I did not check if all pitchers had generic one pitching motion. As a die hard sim player this was a big let down and hopefully this is something that can be addressed via patch.

Maybe they have "hidden" stances...

Not hidden like Ellsbury, but perhaps they were assigned other Generic stances (besides Generic 1) but when you go into Edit Player it only shows up as Generic 1

did you look into this at all?

I did not check, if someone could do that and post back here that would be great. I hope you're right.

it's been like this for 3 years now.. the players don't have hair, the hitters have Gen 1 and Pitchers have Gen 1.. it sucks they can't fix this in 3 years

It is surprising that this hasn't been added, doesn't seem like it would be that difficult.

I could of sworn that the generated players from last year had random batting stances.
