game patches and updates

I'm sry if this doesn't deserve a thread, but I couldn't find it anywhere. I have been wondering, if a patch comes out, and I'm in the middle of a franchise, will the patch update the franchise I was using before the patch came out?

Most of the time yes, patches work with existing franchises. However, its never known until the patch is finished and tested by the devs as to whether or not it will work with existing franchises.

In short, you just have to wait for the patch notes to drop before knowing 100% sure.
