Re: can you change to button swinging?

First you have to hit the start button, i think?

While i'm here i have a question about button swinging. There is no power swing just hit X? If so i think i like that better, is there a downside to not using the stick as far as hit variety and such.

Yep, pause and then it's the right stick that brings up the menu. Just flick the stick any direction. It's kind of a weird way to access a menu and takes a little getting used to if you haven't played a 2K game in awhile.

Tvman: I haven't used button hitting for awhile, but I remember it was either 2K9 or 2K10 where it was really hard to hit any homeruns with the classsic button hitting. I'm guessing that's been fixed, but I haven't tried it lately.

Ok thanks. I was surprised when i switched to classic and saw no power swing seeing as there is one with analog.

Timing only, with directional influence on the left stick (left/right to pull the ball or go for the opposite field, or up for a sac fly).

I did classic hitting with the demo..hit an opposite field homer with Aubrey Huff...but it was also on a hanging breaking ball

in the demo this is possible? Because when i hit pause and flick the right stick, there are only a few options like quit, choose sides, resume...

i didnt notice it there
