Re: Accurate movement and physics sliders

I wanted to add, that I score between 85 to 90 points a game. Shooting % is around 38 - 42. More impressive, is the free throw% is like 65 - 70 for each team. I,m getting great spacing and open looks. Players play true to " Thier" attributes . I still get turnovers , but everything feels right. Try them out they are the oddest looking sliders on this forum( as far as Thier numbers go), but the gameplay might surprise you.

Hope you enjoy

Re: Accurate movement and physics sliders

Your set seems really strange,man...
What roster are you using???

And why these sliders are at 0???:
Stamina
Durability
Hustle
Ball Handling
On-Ball Defense
Stealing
Consistency
Fatigue Rate
Injury Frequency
Injury Severity

Thanks in advice

Re: Accurate movement and physics sliders

believe it or not i'm using the default rosters. those sliders are at 0 because i wanted the players attributes and ratings to control the flow of the game.

putting those at 0 gives exactly what thier physics dictate

now thier are sliders that wont work at 0. for example: vertical seemes to give the shooter more height automatically. to compensate for this i put the vertical and blocking at 5. The next thing is shot success. i know putting these at 0 would just be horrible. but surprisingly 50 was not enough. i had to put the human side up to 54 and even at that it only gave me a 35 to 40 % shooting percentage.

i have tried every slider on this forum and i thought the default was the way to go then i tried Purists and then i tried armor and swords. they all work great , but thier was still times where i could exploit the defense and get monster dunks time after time . i wanted to work for my shots and i wanted to get into the lane when driving. I wanted to accomplish this using the player physics only. if you feel like these are too easy u can bump up the on ball defense and defensive awareness. i would use incriments of 5 and then test them , but for now i like these. after 5 games, me ( Heat ) against cpu ( Celtics) all 5 games were really close and came down to the wire .

This is my biggest issue with 2K11, that you can drive into the lane with iso moves 99% of the time for a monster dunk. In real life, it's pretty hard to get into the lane for a dunk/layup you have to be really skilled (Rose, Lebron, Wade etc). Not everyone can dribble into traffic and go up for a layup/dunk w/o losing the ball in traffic. I'm going to try your suggestions and put some sliders to "0" and hopefully it'll fix this or that in 2K12 that they consider this.

Re: Accurate movement and physics sliders

I used these sliders exactly as posted:

Knicks Magic

102 Points 94
36/67 Field Goals 36/76
53% Field Goal % 47%
8/15 3 Pointers 15/29
53% 3 Pointer % 51%
22/28 Free Throws 7/12
78% Free Throw % 58%
22 Assists 24
4 Turnovers 2
9 Team Fouls 17
41 Total Rebounds 33
2 Offensive Rebounds 1
2 Steals 2
1 Blocks 1
46 Points in the Paint 30
17 Bench Points 36
4 Second Chance Points 2
2 Fast Break Points 0

- There literally was not 1 dunk the entire game.
- I liked the pacing of the game.
- Liked the movement/physics.
- I used 10 mins instead of 12.

thanks for the feed back.....i have noticed that the dunking ability at 0 will do that ( as far as dunks go).. i may have to start to raise it to see when it triggers the actual players attributes for dunking. some sliders at 0 will null and void the players attributes... what i'm trying to prevent is having the guys coming off high picks and getting clear lanes to the basket resulting in monster dunks. maybe this happens once a game , but i could pull this off almost every other play with "53 ice" using lebron james.
