Last year the max he could throw was 99-101 on the game, do you think SCEA has adjusted this to reflect his true speed of up to 104?

This has been an issue with Joel Zumaya as well and they never fixed it for him so I wouldn't get my hopes up. That said, like you I really, really hope they adjusted it.

This needs fixing, I always wanted to make a record-breaking power pitcher, but Show never allows it.

off topic but has anyone seen a player injured & removed from game when hit by 100mph fastball?

or a pitcher injured by a line drive that drills them in the face? I always get a laugh out of that when he just steps up to the next batter like nothing happened.

Chapman's average fastball is ~100mph. So on paper I think the game handles it the best it can. If The Show allowed his fastball to be 104+mph that means in-game his fastball could reach that speed consistently based on how the game handles pitcher's speeds. There would have to be some re-work to the code to only allow those type of speeds a lower percentage of the time, and all other pitches would be more around the average.
