Fight Night Champion Impressions/Questions

I am hoping its not too early to star this thread but I am psyched about the game and I am sure some OSers will get a copy this weekend.

So how is it guys? Compared to the demo or previous iterations?

Having fun?

Question(s):

1) Do fights go the distance?
2) Is it bloodier than the demo?
3) Is the M rating only relevant to the Career mode?
4) The AI any good?

definitely having fun....

have had a few fights go the distance.

the blood/damage is very random. as in some fights theres much more than others. some fights theres been almost none.

some swearing in the corner.

ai seems about on par with the last couple games.

trying some sliders in a bit.

Re: Fight Night Champion Impressions/Questions

lost a close fight between donaire (me) and gamboa.... no knockdowns.

all fights so far the cpu seems to throw between 75-90 punches a round.

dissapointing that even with the stamina down less 30% they still throw similiar amounts of punches. they don't seem interested in conserving at all.

I notice if I am patient in my fights the cpu will be patient and if I'm aggressive then the cpu becomes as well and therefore the high puch count. Still an awesome game imo

Let me clarify this a bit. They still come at you when I try to slow it up.

I wondering if a CPU patient fighter even exist??? I afraid all fights will have similar pace? Thoughts JT???

Re: Fight Night Champion Impressions/Questions

Maybe it's just me but I'm starting to get more frustrated with the Punch Output. I am fighting B. Hopkins using RJJR and Hopkins has thrown 604 punches through 5 rounds and another thing I'm noticing is it seems every fighter ends up with around a 50-55% connect rate.

Finally looks like B Hopkins has punched himself out. His PC has dropped from roughly 115-120 a round to mid 80's and he is laboring around the ring. Fatigue works thats for sure.

tweaking the sliders has definitely resulted in some better fights. punch output works as well as increasing the awareness to enhance the ai.

I agree it does seem that the pace is similiar per the weight division. the heavies definitely move more methodically but the output is still too high. The reduction in p/o helps a bunch tho.

tweaking...........
