What stadiums have the best...

hitting background in your opinion. You know, where you feel like you can pick up the ball the best when batting and the view is from behind the catcher. I never really have ever played the AL stadiums unless my NL team played there in Inter-League play. Some parks just seem a lot tougher to pick up the ball whether because the background is too light or too busy or too small. I just need all the help I can get when batting and being able to see the ball is a priority when hitting !!! LOL

Thanks

Pretty sure I have a .400 lifetime batting avg in Oakland with all my teams. I also smoke the ball in Milwaukee.

US Cellular Field is a favorite of mine. Ball just jumps there for whatever reason, or seems to at least.

Wrigley, Fenway, The Ballpark in Arlington (that may be from lots of play time there), Detroit, and Camden Yards are the best for me. I don't pick the ball up well at Anaheim Stadium for some reason (I think the shadows screw me up), Houston and Tampa.

I seem to pick the ball up at Camden Yards extremely well.

I always seem to have problems at Progressive Field. I do not like the trees as the batters eye.

Knight, are you saying you can light it up anywhere? Or do you use a different view like behind pitcher? I was finding Yankee Stadium difficult, as far as being pretty busy in the background. I like traditional, dark, plain & wide backgrounds with no fans to cloak the pitches.
