Can anyone tell me if he's a bust and what his POT is as mobile? I'm at the draft and the fins wont trade the #1 and keep picking Zazzali. Is essex worth it?

EDIT: Is their any really cheap/cheats to trading draft picks? I really need Zazzali as my playbook is based around him as I expected to draft him..

Just a few words on Chris Essex:

I've got him with a 86 potential under the Balanced philosophy. I would expect it to be slightly higher under the Mobile philosophy, but I could be wrong. He is a bit of a project though, as his Learning starts at 49. Throwing accuracy is at 80 in my dynasty, where's he the backup QB with the Giants. There are some other Mobile QBs after Essex, they all struggle with Learning though. The Zazzali path is thick with Mobile QBs, but I would definitely invest in learning development at the Qb position.

You might explore a trade for Josh Johnson. The team that drafts him usually doesn't give him a chance to start. I recently explored a possible trade for Johnson, and the asking price was a 2010 7th. His potential as a Mobile QB is almost as good as Zazzali.

I used Essex in my Dynasty as the Chiefs for about 9 years. A Good QB, under the

Strong Arm Philosophy he was a 89 - 90 POT

He threw for 35K yards and about a 62% completion percentage. His TD to INT ratio was 1.5:1 if I remember correctly.

All in All, a good QB when he learns the plays.
