Starting an association on ps3

hey everyone

just looking for some tips on what i should do before starting an association?

im gonna start as my hometown Cavs even though they blow, and im looking for some tips.

- sliders?
- rosters?
- draft classes?
- possible trades?
- custom music?

just something to get me going. i am ready to play the "best sports game of 2010"

I like to play 29 game seasons and actually play every game on 3-minute quarters. You can set the sim quarter length to 3 minutes as well, and see how you are stacking up to the rest of the league in stats and what not. I find it's a lot more immersive when you're invested in playing every game.

that was going to be my next question.

im not sure if i can play every single game of an 82 game season and actually get far into my association. I'm thinking i would finish one season, go through offseason, then lose interest 25 games or so into season 2.

what do you all do?

how do you keep interest? or in my case, spark some interest since my team blows haha

I just erased mine but I was able to get Tyson Chandler,Wesley Matthews and Dorell Wright (forgot the trades but I think it was mo for wesley, Varajao? for chandler and jamison for dorell..)JJ hickson is touchable in trades Because I had him starting and it didn't go well.. so I got Jason Thompson and it went cool I warn you It will take alot of patience to have the cavs..

If I do a rebuild I think I'm going to be the Cavs as well. What do you think Mo Williams, Varejeo,and Jamison would fetch? Each on his own or in any combination. Would be looking for draft picks or young guards with potential.
