Online Exhibition Game Using Custom Rosters?

Is there a way to do this? Someone posted some fresh rosters as of last week. My boy and I play online and would like to use a custom roster file. Any help on this would me most appreciated!

Cant do it. When you go online it asked to update to most recent roster. The reason being they dont want you making a "super" team going online with all players at 100.

I wish you could but alas it is not to be.

We're not looking to play ranked games though, just player matches. Unless I'm mistaken I could've sworn it was possible in the past
