Will there be a Backbreaker 2 2011?

Pardon me if this question has been asked before but does anyone know if there will be a Backbreaker 2 console version?

I still play BB online and LOVE it. It's true gridiron football gameplay. At worst this game is proof of concept in that it proves that you can have a physics based football game...it SHOULD have marked the END of animation era of football if it had the NFL license.

Anyways I would love to see a BB2...if they added fatigue, online tourneys, injuries, maybe aging, more varied player models it would justify a new purchase.

Passing is interesting..it feels realistic but I dont dare try to change receivers when dropping back..I always select who I will throw it to presnap...if the play looks bad I audible out or call time out..Also,.scrambling or running with QB seems impossible..so that change would need to be made as well.

Doubtful for 2011, but I'm banking on 2012.

Don't get me wrong, I love Backbreaker and play it nearly every day, but they have a lot to work on.

Yeah and even 2012 might be stretching it a little. Apparently NM is now working on a hockey game.

I'd love to see a BB2, there is a TON of potential with this game.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is a new BB this year....usually a sequel to a sports game is easier to get done.

and imo, they already have a good foundation...all they have to do is get fatigue working correctly and injuries....and they will probably have different sized player models.

from there everything else just needs to get tweaked from the first game....maybe add alittle to each mode people care about...like say Franchise.

I know there are others who hope they take their time and maybe release a game every 2 years. But I'd prefer if they released it every year...to which we can chime in and get a better overall football game sooner...than say, waiting for them to release info after a year and a half, then we play a beta or demo of it and feel there is alot that needs work.

They need a lot more to get done than fatigue and injuries. There are things within the game's core which need massive overhauls. Basically the only thing they got right is the natural motion tech, which thankfully was enough to warrant a purchase the first time around. The kicking system was actually great too.

I don't know how big the company is, but they are working on and Ice Hockey game right now.

SO if there is one I expect it 2012-2013

They just need to merge together with 2K and just take over Sports Gaming.

Both companies have incredible strengths, but together they would be invincible.

See, this is where my head is at. I really hope 2K considers using this tech in their games someday. It kind of also sucks though because they already had the best interaction animations around.
