Is there an element of "Madden Comeback" mode in this game?

I was leading the Nets 88-68 heading in to the fourth quarter with Miami. All was going well. I was dominating. Come the fourth quarter, they go on a 25-4 run and in the end I close it out 105-100.

During that 25-4 run they had a ridiculous FG% for the first time in the game and I in turn couldn't hit a shot. Even when I was fouled in the paint, I was struggling from the line. They were nearly automatic from anywhere on the court and I was tanking. Why?

I didn't change how I was playing. I just couldn't stop them. In hindsight, I should have called a time out sooner to slow them down.

Are there games in Association mode where you have blowouts or are all games close for you? Will this balance out?I don't want blow outs all the time though this should have been a convincing win. Perhaps I am to blame for not adjusting. I hope it was me and not the AI.

I am playin Pro-Sim using the sliders from Punt on this forum as well as the recommended roster set he advocates.

Not even close to maddens CPU God mode into the 4th qtr, but you just have to recognize when the momentum us turning, call a time out and make the necessary adjustments.

There's a Clutch Factor setting where you turn it on or off. But there's also a slider.

Right.

I can't tell you what it's set at it right now, I will check and post findings. I have also posted a similar question in the thread for Punt's sliders. I'd be interested in his reply as well.

Thanks for taking the time to help a brother out.

Loving this game, LOVE-IT.
