Online Franchise

I am getting older, and my buddies and I still love playing games together, but we are now forced to do the online franchises, because getting together isn't as easy as it used to be.

Obviously NCAA is king in this area, and Madden in 2nd by default.

I am a baseball fan above all else, as are most of my buddies, we would love to be able to play a franchise together, but no go, so far.

Can anybody tell me if there is a problem with getting this included in the game, or if it is just not a priority.

I am strictly a franchise guy, I don't play Road to the Show, and I don't want to play exhibition games online. I would guess that was how the majority of players are. Am I way off here?

Re: Online Franchise

Well hopefully they do get it in sometime but wait until I'm retired. If not I'll have to quit my job. Just kidding..add it as soon as possible.

One thing we can do now though since they added custom rosters is play our league with trades etc... then after the season when starting a new season load up rosters that match the final league rosters.
Not perfect but a workaround.
Would be great if we can save our league rosters after the season and then all we'd have to do is load them instead of having someone re-create rosters with the right players on teams etc....

Re: Online Franchise

Wow! So glad I'm not alone on this...I'm shocked this dosen't come up more often...The online portion is the only thing that holds this game back...but, atleast this year it was playable online, so they're making progress....

Here's what I hope they do to improve the online portion of the game...

1)Like the OP said, add an Online franchise Mode

2) When you're in an online league/franchise at the league menu, I hope you can hear other people in the league, if they happen to have their mic on and are in the league menu at the same time you are...

3) In the game lobbies, add mic icons beside their PSN name for the people that have their mic on...

3) Activate the mic as soon as you accept the game invite when you come to the team selection screen...

4) Do away with the on/off mic button on the controller and just always have the mic on

Re: Online Franchise

Exactly what I am going to do with my league. Once our season 1 ends, I will have a custom roster mirroring what our "end of season" rosters were, and will load that as our beginning roster for season 2. Just trying to plan out now if I will be going with an all user league or incorporate the computer led teams as well.

Yep. Posted the exact same thing. This is what I'll be doing. Would be nice getting it integrated into the game though.

Re: Online Franchise

Is there an easy way to mirror? Or just creating the freaking full roster 1 by 1?!
