Association Mode Player Progression

Hey, I am fairly new to the game and just started an association with the Pistons.

Anyways, I've noticed that already a bunch of my players have already dropped one or two points and I'm not even 15 games into the season. Austin Daye, who gets a lot of minutes and is rated low 60s is about the only one who hasn't dropped, but he hasn't improved despite his ppg and rebounding jumping a bunch. I traded for Steph Curry and even he has dropped despite averaging around 22ppg and 9 assists per game.

My shooting averages are a little low, but not horrible. I schedule practices when I have more than a day off, but my starters are often tired after games so I don't want fatigue to become an issue. Players who haven't gotten much floor time seem to have dropped a point first and already are -2.

Any idea why this is, am I not doing something I supposed to? The game is already tough with the Pistons iffy roster, now I'm worried come the end of the season most my players will be even worse.

Make sure they're happy with their roles.

Sometimes, it could be the coach that creates negativity; On some occasions hiring a new coach can make some players go back up. But majority of it is probably gonna be between player roles and minutes players are recieving.

Are you winning?Alot of the time your guys will drop a point or two if your not winning.Once the season is over younger players will progree while older ones will drop a few points.Im the pistons to but im in year six and ive finally built up a solid team through the draft and minor trades. But my first few years my guys where in the minus but we where one of the top 5 worst teams in the leauge.Anyways if your not winning that much thats probably it.As long as their not like minus 3 because thats usually role related or minutes.
