Andrew Luck will be the #1 pick.

Jaguars have addressed the offensive and defensive line the past 2 years. 2011 should be all about the secondary and interior offensive line.

It would be interesting to see what the Bengals would do at #1. Would they finally wave goodbye to Palmer and welcome the new Luck era?

As for Pitt's most glaring needs,
1- OG or OT
2- CB
3- OT or OG

Besides Pouncey last year when was the last time the Steelers invested heavily in the draft on O-Line with either a high pick or later round picks to develop?

Re: 2011 NFL Draft Thread

Pretty positive the #1 pick is Andrew Luck. Seems like that's been the consensus all year long.

Being a Bucs fan, I like what we did in the draft last year a lot. Actually, McCoy, Benn, and Williams were the 3 rookies I was praying the Bucs would draft the entire time. That worked out slightly better than the last 2 rookies I was praying we would draft (that we also ended up drafting coincidentally enough): Travis Stephens from Tennessee and Chris Simms.

In this years draft, I don't have any names yet. I'll probably find a guy or two that I really want us to draft as the draft gets nearer, but I'd like us to add some more depth to our O-Line, add a pass rusher at defensive end, and then just add some more depth everywhere on the defense. Maybe a more elusive RB as well although I like combination of Blount and Caddy.

Re: 2011 NFL Draft Thread

Knowing our "Luck" we will probably win out, and not get the first pick.

Re: 2011 NFL Draft Thread

30 year old average defense for the Broncos, guess what I think they need to draft.

But its hard to tell what the new head coach will want to do, maybe he'll try to move up and get his "Franchise player"

Re: 2011 NFL Draft Thread

Biggest for the saints would be OLB then DT/DE. After that it's all about getting the best talent available for the future and having even more depth.
