If you would start a Knicks Franchise with Melo...

Hey guys...

I'm about to start a Knicks Franchise, but I want Melo on the team. Since everyone knows it's bound to happen...anyways, who do you think would be traded for him??

I want to make it fair where I do give the Nuggets the players to make it fair.

Chandler, Gallinari and Eddie Curry??
Chandler, Fields and ..............

What do you guys think would be a fair trade?

Gallo and 1st rounder does not match up salary wise and Denver would never take that if they're expecting a 1st rounder.

Also, it's not bound to happen YET that Melo goes to the Knicks. Nets just made a trade for 2 1st rounders and Sasha Vujacic(an expiring contract). Denver could trade with them if they want all the Nets assets. I doubt it'll happen but you never know.

If you really want Melo on the Knicks, just trade Gallo, Chandler, Curry and a 1st rounder

Didn't know the Nets offered two first rounders...that's interesting, and hard to pass up on....


Denver also wants to move Billups and give Ty Lawson more playing time, at least that's the rumor...

back on topic, yeah I might feel better if I trade both Chandler and Gallo....

any other ideas?

The last Nets offer reported was Favors, Murphy, and 2 1st Rounders.

The Knicks offer I said, I believe was the general Knicks offer agreed upon before, but there are better offers out there. It's really all on Melo IRL.

Melo will only be traded to NY because the only way a team will take him is if he will sign an extension with them, and he has already come out and said if he is traded he will only extend with the Knicks. He is as good as there, its just a matter of when, now or during free agency.

anthony randolph, eddy curry, gallo and a 1st rounder is what it should be. fields and chandler are good players, but dont have the ceiling that randolph and gallo have

I'm watching the Knicks vs. Celtics game right now......if Gallo keeps playing like this it'll make it hard for the Nuggets to refuse!! haha
