Greatest Comeback

I've got a custom tournament going. After trailing 6-0 early in the second period I was thinking of selling my PS3 and all of my games. Then the great charge began. By the end of the second period my Canucks trailed the Oilers 6-3. They tied, then went ahead 7-6, then the Oilers tied the score at 7 before the end of regulation. For this tournament I opted for sudden death OT, so I was wondering how long this would take for the result. The OT was nearing a close when Hendrik Sedin scored the game winner.

What's your greatest comeback?

Geez...sounds like we have HUMAN Comeback code programmed! haha Sorry, someone was going to say it eventually!

I haven't had any 7 goal comebacks, but I have had games where I would be down 2-0. Then I scored to make it 2-1....CPU scores..3-1. But then in the 3rd, my guys some how poured it on and tied it at 3. I ended up winning in OT. It was pretty gratifying.

Last year my fantasy draft Blue Jackets had swept their way through the playoffs to the Finals, and then I got my *** kicked the first three games by a team better than me. My goal went from "Win the Cup" to "Don't get swept", and then I reeled off 4 straight victories (including 2 double-OT games and a 2-goal 3rd period in Game 7 on the road) to win the Cup. Was great.

Serious. The thought of selling was brief, but legit. I think I've been playing FIFA 11 too much, and I am a bit underwhelmed by Gran Turismo 5. If I can't win a good game like NHL 11, what's the point of playing? Needless to say, coming back from being six goals down was one of my best PS3 moments.

Sabres vs. Penguins (CPU) about a month ago (all-star). Penguins tallied three goals early all in the first period. Couldn't score on the Pens the rest of the first. Came into the second with some new strategies, began to chip away. Got to within a goal, and my goalie let in a goal through traffic. Managed to tie it late in the 3rd period 4-4. First faceoff in overtime, Roy won the faceoff and slid it to Vanek on a fast break down the wing, shot a puck on Fleury which rebounded into the air and Ennis came in to knock it down and crashed into the net for the goal. Crazy goal, but it was really satisfying.
