Just thought on why Mayweather is not in FNC (in support to Brizzo and the roster)

I posted this over on the EA board, but thought it was relevant here as well.

The last boxing game Floyd was in was Fight Night Round 2. FNR2 came out back in Feb 05. Floyd's last fight (during dev process) was against Henry Bruseles in Jan 05. Take into account development time and his last fight would have been with DeMarcus Corley. In other words EA got to him before he had the big fights with Gatti, Oscar, Zab, etc. Proof that his fame went to his head and thought he was bigger than the sport. Not that this is nothing that we didn't already know, but it back's up what Brizzo was saying and how it can be difficult to get fighters signed. In other words I have all the faith in Brizzo and the rest of the dev team that they did the best they could.

Its to bad they couldn't and to bad money wouldn't budge on his demands to be in the game.

Yeah because he would be the only boxer in history to have a game named after him....

Fight Night isnt Madden, the name has no prestige.

Its a business

I can't believe you're defending this guy. Pac is in the game and he's a bigger star than Floyd. No excuses.
Its free money and marketing! Why the **** would you turn that down??!

Because Floyd is so Narcassistic that he couldn't bear to see a video game rendering of him all smashed up.

Floyd is messed up in the head. Everything he does is to get his daddy's approval, but its not coming. Floyd could probably be a decent guy, but in the end, he's looking for something he's not going to find no matter what he does or how much $$$ he makes.

Why is it when some one bring up something that doesnt agree with the masses always have to be defending someone?

PBF/Pac topic is for some other thread and im not going to comment on your opinion about that..

However as a business man, I see both sides of the story and both sides are logical (hate for either aside)

I don't see how turning down a free paycheck could be considered good business. He has to do absolutely nothing to get that hefty check and he's getting free marketing to boot.
