UEFA Matches?

Im just starting to get into the EPL. I also just finished up a season with Aresnal on FIFA 11 and moved on to season 2 and I noticed I don't have any UEFA matches scheduled right away. I finished 2nd in the EPL and won the FA cup. Shouldn't this mean I will be playing UEFA matches? Or do those show up on the schedule later, once I get started playing my schedule?

Any help in having me understand how this works a little better, both in the game and in real life, would be cool. Thanks guys.

If you haven't gone into the second season enough yet, the schedule may not be there yet. It might be putting into account that there are qualification rounds before group stage where Arsenal is getting directly into. So it may show up soon.

Also it won't be titled "UEFA Champions League". I can't remember the exact title it uses, but due to PES having the UEFA rights, the "champions league" is titled something different in FIFA. Hope that clears up any confusion.

Since your playing in a higher league than say Austria or Switzerland you do not have to play the early knockout rounds, once those are finished you will be drawn into a group and the games should show up.

I think EA calls it CL because of legal rights.

I can only speak for FIFA 10 but if I'm not mistaken it's called the ECC

That's the name mate. I was thinking of Football Manager i think.
