I don't know if it's official, but it seems Todd Howard is finally telling us we get more Elder Scrolls...

Ugh. That whole engine is so outdated, bloated, buggy and decrepit. Keeping a decade old game engine together with bits of string and used gum doesn't work. I was hoping one of the reasons they bought id was because they were using id Tech 5.

They can't seriously be using Gamebryo again, right? RIGHT?

They used the Fallout 3 engine but improved it greatly, so that it's almost a whole new engine.

I'll believe it when I play it and it doesn't have any of the faults the Gamebryo engine has.

Excuse my cynicism, but I detest this engine, and am baffled by the decision to use it again.

What faults does gamebyro have? I didn't get Fallout 3, but it was supposedly better than Oblivion, and people loved it, so why not improve on it?

re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

As long as it's not set in Cyrodil, since then it would be the same game except different graphics story and weps. A direct sequel to Morrowind would be better received.

But people need to calm down about the animations. They'll prob be much improved. Just improve third person... god that was terrible. And make more weapons and armour.
