I Just Noticed Something On Sorten Settings like Hitting Assistance : 1 And Aggression 5 / 5 And Hitting Power : 1 / 1 And Stick Lift Effectiveness : 2 / 2 And Poke Effectiveness : 2 / 2 ... It Really Depends How Aggressive You Play With CPU .. Like Shoot Puck At Goalie When Whistle is Blown They Will Attack You Knock You Down <_<.. Okay If You Check CPU Player So Many Times
When Game Is going on You'll Start To Notice They Start Checking Back Little More So As Your Dishing Out Hit After Hit , They Will Start Dishing Hit After Hit And Really Depends What Game Speed And Player Acceleration o.o .. Okay But I Noticed When its Lower They Hit More And When Acceleration is Higher It Kinda Like Charge Up Check Like Litterally You Spack him To Boards...
Now If You Add CPU Difficulty Adjustment It's How Easy You Check him
And When You Fight It Disrupts Flow o.o Of Checking Game Soon Both Sides Are Silent <_< And Your a One Man Racking Crew hitting them at will <_<

<_< I Also Noticed this In NHL 10 <_< I Dunno But Now Am Using That Setting <_< Hitting Assitance 1 And Aggression 5 / 5 And Stick Lift Effectiveness 2 / 2 And Poke Effectiveness 2 / 2 <-- With This It Helps CPU Check You When Playing Aggressive Right Now Am Getting hits Over 20 - 30 And the odd 35 - 28 <_< Just Try to understand :< My Horrorible English And If You Check Player 2 Times While Whistle Is Blown They Will Chase You All Around Rink <_< And If You Poke Check The Goalie They Will Attack You ROFL!
Or Start Fight ^_^ Or If You Skate Towards Goalie Sinisterly When off Side CPU Chase You And Knocking you down or CPU Will Get the Penalty <_< If You Don't Play Aggressive The Hits Low Like 9 - 15 or 10 - 13 or 14

k.. It's How Aggressive you Play with CPU You Keep Checking them
And Shoot Puck on The Goalie or Poke Check Goalie or Check Player 2 times
And they will chase ya in rink or shoot puck at player o.o And When Game is going Keep Checking them
They Will Start to Check Back Alot And Player Acceleration And Game Speed Is how Clean check will be
And CPU Difficulty Adjustment is how Easy you Check them Mixed with Aggression And Hit Assitance and hitting power

It sounds like you're just doing a "run and check" mode. Post whistle, you're checking. I don't see this as a "real" way to get more checks, just a cheap method to stack the stats. That's what it seems like you're saying.
