The Dwight Howard Thread

http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sport...2707571.column

Orlando Sentinal reports that Dwight is "not automatic" to sign an extension with the Magic after this year.

Hopefully he doesn't go the way of either Melo or the attention whoring levels of Lebron and just reups with the Magic.

No way he leaves imo, if anything Dwight is playing it smart and not automatically signing into a long term deal.

If somehow he actually does leave it def won't be in the matter of Lebron and possibly Melo. Funny how in the NFL you rarely see Stars in their prime leave their teams, now in the NBA that's all people are worried about

Well in the NFL, teams can just slap the Franchise Tag on you to prevent a young star in his prime from leaving, whereas you don't have that option in the NBA although I do wish that they incorporate something like how the Franchise Tag works in the NFL.

i highly doubt he leaves. he likes it in Orlando and the team is still a championship contender.

i think maybe he wants to see what they do to the team if they dont get to the finals this year. god knows they need a playmaking 2 or 3 and a real PF. Vince aint cutting it.

Vince for Melo??? lol

He's just probably waiting to see what happens with the CBA.

I'd love (for personal preference) to see Dwight in San Antonio.

What did Melo do besides not sign his extension? Did I miss something?
