Deleting A Patch/Future Patches

I just deleted the most recent patch for PS3, 1.02 I believe (mainly because of the experience points thing, for BaP).

Now my question is, if and when a new patch arrives to fix the new issues, will I still be able to use the contents of that future patch in my current BaP?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure that you have to download/install them in order. 1.01, 1.02 etc...

You do. When and if a new patch arrived, he would have to download the first two and then the new one. Still not so sure it would take effect in a Dynasty in progress. I'm almost positive the Tuners didn't until I restarted.

I highly doubt that a new patch will arrive. 1.02 is the end, the next is calling NHL 12 with new bugs in there.

Unfortunately, this is most likely correct. Unless there is a huge outcry about the Be a Pro issue, there won't be another patch. I'm betting that once the x-box crowd gets the patch, there will be a pretty big outcry. But generally speaking, EA doesn't spend too much time and finances on multiple patches. They're already working on NHL 12, and we can simply expect that it'll continue to strengthen the series. (We'll see if 2k comes out with an NHL game next year, as there's still a lot of speculation as to whether they will or won't.)

As for me, I'm going to go enjoy NHL 11. It's a fantastic game (coming from someone who hasn't played an NHL game in years) and despite the new BAP point issue, I'm going to enjoy the game for all it's worth.

Re: Deleting A Patch/Future Patches

I am in no doubt loving this game, and it really is no big deal for me to delete the latest patch. I honeslty wouldnt mind getting less XP points in BaP game, but when it gets to the point were its impossible to stay in the NHL, there really is no point in playing that mode.

With that said, next to the Show, this is by far the best sports game I have played in a long time (although I hear NBA 2k11 is pretty sick though)
