Goalie poke checks misses and goal. HELP

I'm Playing in my Be A GM and this year made the leap to superstar difficulty, i loved it but one day Lundqvist just kept missing poke checks leaving a wide open net and goal this happens once or twice a game and is extremely frustrating and costs me so many wins. Is this the tuning set or a slider i could use. Any help is appreciated.
