The animation was taken out of the game, it was in 2k10 but left out for reason unknown to us in 2k11 maybe it can be patched.

I heard that is will be in the patched to be released. That is what they are saying at the 2k forums.

I don't know about consoles, but it can be done on PC by slightly pressing the movement stick
