PS3 Clicking Noise... What tha?!

I got this loud clicking noise from Ps3 slim... im not sure if its the game or my Ps3? ive only been playing 2K and cant get myself to put this game down...just curious if anyone experiencing this same problem?

Yeah I've been getting it too but not just from this game.

Let's see if we're referring to the same sound: Is it like a popping noise?

If so then I looked it up and its nothing serious, just the plastic (matte finish on the skin of the PS3) making that sound. Its just temperature, do you have a heater or air con switched on while playing?

Mine clicks all the time. Various electronic devices click like that as they heat or cool. There's an old monitor sitting in the corner that pops a few times per day.

Clicking from the PS3 IS NOT NORMAL!!!!!!! My fat PS3 never clicks and none of my computer I have built through out the years click.

yes ive never had this noise problem with the Ps3 first gen. but its more like a popping sound since you guys mentioned that...

This is completely normal, Ive owned 3 different PS3's and they all do this and one of them was a fatboy.
