Be a Gm question

When i started my be a GM today i started at the draft with Toronto. I like some of the prospects Toronto has (Ross, Mckegg etc) but theres a few more i wanted. I traded for Jordan Weal, LA Kings prospect recently drafted in the third round. I love the new send players back to junior thing. But i found out that when i didnt sign Ross Mckegg or Weal to ETC's they were not sent back to juinor even though they had 2 years of eligability left. However the few players i did draft went back to junior and still appear as part of my system. Am i missing something or is that just how the game works? Im thinking that prospects that are already in the game but already property of a certain team must be signed and cannot be sent back to junior as part of some glitch that ea apparently hasnt fixed. Can someone help me out?

It's a glitch. Hopefully EA will take care of it with the patch.

Wait so for you you didn't sign a prospect and they were on your roster?The opposite happened for me.
