YOUR OUT OF LUCK ON THE NEW ROSTERS IF YOU DONT HAVE XBOX GOLD

I saw that the new rosters were out so I figured they would finally be in the "download rosters" section of EA's online which has been empty so far and nothing. All it say is what it has always said "There are no rosters updates at his time please check back later." Sorry, but I'm just an offline player and am not going to pay another $40 to upgrade to gold to get roster updates. I don't know about PS3 users if they are able to get roster updates but this is just greed on EA and Microsofts part to not even get rosters. No other sports game does this...I'm speechless at the decision. I supposed next you'll have to have gold to get patches and tuner updates too...ridiculous...

From what I've seen so far, all you have to do is connect to an online vs game, and the rosters will download(make sure to save them afterwards). The catch is, PS3 users can do that for free.

My problem is i'm on a XBOX 360 and since iv'e only got a silver account I am not able to access any of the online features..I'd have to upgrade to gold to be able to start an online vs game...anyone else with me on this?.....

HAHAHAH its good EA is not yet charging for roster updates... coz they could be sued for releasing SUCH CRAPPY, ERRONEOUS roster update.

I am in the same situation, although two months back when I got the game, I went into HUT mode and it prompted me to download the online rosters. Try starting up HUT and seeing if that does any good for you. I just wish we could transfer with USB key (my next search on this forum) because then I'll head to my buddy's house tonight and download the rosters with his gold membership and put them on my USB key.

EDIT: I guess the new rosters are brutal, so I'm just going to forgot the hassle and just make the updated trades myself. Extremely disappointing.
