Classic Teams In Association Mode

I am having a problem starting an Association mode with Classic Rosters, does anyone know why this is happening? I am freezing once all teams are loaded, once I select the team it just freezes. Do all teams have to be under the cap or is it because the roster I am using has been edited to include the real members of all the teams?

Cap has nothing to do with it. Try placing the teams in first, then edit them.

So you can edit the teams once you enter association mode?

If you mean accessories, yes. If you mean rosters, im not sure. I have 2 associations going. One with the regular teams and one wit a mixture of classic and today's players. In the mixture association, i placed Magic on the Lakers, Ewing on the Knicks, Durant and the starting 5 on the Supersonics , on the bulls i have Jordan, Pippen, Cartwright, Grant, & Harper on the current bulls. With Rose, Jordan, Pippen, Grant, and Bill starting, with Boozer and Noah coming of the bench. I placed each player on the team first. Then went to association. There's an option to use custom league. I then placed each team in the correct division. Note: not sure if you can add classic teams with the same name as a current team. What i mean is, i don't know if you can have today's Bulls team and a classic bulls team in at the same time. Replace one with the other or combine them to make on team. After, start your association and you should be good. Hope this helps you.
