Skill points questions?

I'll make this real quick: *"Pass" skill. *Does this help you make better passes in tight spots or just more fancy passes. *I know it says more accurate but there some passes that I could make but for some reason it never gets through. *Second skill is "3 pt". What is a good number to shoot for to be able to make 3's consistently when open. *Right now I'm at 40 and I've hit about 2 out of 12 attempts. * *And my last question is what skill do I need to boost up so I don't keep picking up my dribble every time I face tight D. *Thanks for your help.

Pass skill helps w/ pass fanciness and accuracy.

80 is a solid 3pt rating. 35-38% of threes should go in.

Work on your ball handling to get better at getting by defenders.

Re: Skill points questions?

Your pass rating improves both the accuracy of your passes and the type of passes you throw.

Upper 70's rated three point shooters can make them when open but like the other guy said 80 is a good benchmark to shoot for if you want to shoot some threes.

For the ball handling question the rating you want to boost is ball security. Ball handling and off hand dribble rating determines the kind of dribble moves you can do. Your ball security rating determines how often you can lose your dribble and how effective steal attempts are against you. You will see the CPU swipe at the ball more on players with a low ball security rating.
