10 Teams in 10 Days - Where is the Stuff Czar Showed Us?

When Czar released "10 Teams in 10 Days" videos a lot of people, including myself, became excited over playing against a dynamic CPU opponent that would run all the different plays and sets, as well as make adjustments and decisions on defense.

Where is it?

The CPU only runs 2-3 plays, without any variations, throughout a game. And it never seems to adjust on D. In MJ challenge games, for example, on the way to 60+ points the CPU rarely if ever double teams MJ.

I see it as I progress through the season, especially the double teams and tight coverage on MJ. I'm in the finals with the Celtics doing the MJ create a legend and all the way up to the finals team's would change strategies on me and even play different lineups it seemed if player's were struggling.
What difficulty are you playing? I play Superstar/Simulation.

Its called marketing!! Do you see any of 2k staff around here anymore. Do you see the mods being as strict as they were right before the game was out? Of course not

fcabanski, they fixed the issue of CPU calling the same 4-5 plays over and over again with the 10/25 rosters. A new roster (10/28) came out several hours ago and is still fine. Said this in my thread: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...e-plays-2.html

A huge issue that was fixed in this roster update was the AI CPU calling the same 4-5 plays over and over again. Now, they will call different plays. For example, whenever I played against the Celtics, Ray Allen never had plays called for him. With this roster, CPU called plays for Allen in back-to-back possessions.

Or playing against the Mavericks, every play was for Dirk when he was on the floor. No longer the case. They will run plays for Butler and others.

I've not had any 'going through defenders for a dunk' with this roster. More mid-air collisions occur when they should.

Was playing 2K10 but now I'm going back to 2K11 after this great roster update and possibly start a Franchise.

However this is still a problem even with the 10/28 latest roster:

After playing around with these rosters, the PG hardly get's any plays called for him. Some PG's do such as Rose but others- Kidd/Rondo/Nelson do not. Although they might not be 1st or 2nd option on offense, having plays called for them is important.

The main reason being that PG's have plays that are pick-and-rolls that involve the PF and C. As of now, not enough pick-and-rolls by the AI CPU in general. Rondo has pick-and-roll plays involving PF/C. Nelson has plays with Howard and Kidd with Nowitzki.

I urge you to try the game again because its fun now! I play on Superstar/Sim. Only gameplay problem I have is blocking jumpshots being too easy when using turbo and CPU shoots about 10% on 3's on Simulation.

^^What the **** are talking about? Da_Craz does it for free. I mean he doens't get paid by 2k. ^^

But also Da_Craz videos were to show you the diversty between each team. Great example would be the Thunder and Spurs. In 2k10 there wasn't any difference between teams play calling. Last night I had the CPU run the same play on me 4 times. But each time they scored a different way because I would cut off one option. Which would lead to another option. I play on Hall of Fame-sim. Yes...the toughest of toughest. I'm usually the one that not into playing the CPU that much. I usually stick to playing online. But this year I find myself playing a lot more offline games because the CPU isn't boring.

I dont have live right now because im in the process of moving so I dont have roster anyway, but does downloading those rosters fix CPU playcalling in a mode like My Player that you have already started?

Yes of course not! We lighten up after a game, because we're here less guys. Generally speaking , we're playing a game, or looking for specific info. Mods are gamers, too. Before release, I'll check out a game's forum a LOT waiting for every little bit of info...then it comes out. Then , the next step is to play a ton of said game.
