How do you save created players permanently and make them show up in your association?

I've been creating players but I can't seem to be able to save them on my HDD...they basically vanish once I shut down the game and it's pissing me off, any clue on this?

did you save your roster? ...

I noticed they don't have "headshots", I thought all new players would automatically have one now.

roster save first then they will be in your season
