Classic Teams - Generic Players Question

Hey I know that there are classic teams but I have a question about the "generic" players that were added in. I know these generics don't look like their real life bench counterparts, but are they rated randomly or are their ratings accurate?

For example, Ostertag was the starter for the Utah Jazz, but they didn't get him in the game so Keefe starts. Ss there some guy on the bench for the Jazz that has Ostertag-like stats?
