One Game To Buy..NHL11, FIFA11, NBA2k11

Title says it all......Which one should I get? I loved NHL and Fifa from last year and have seen great things from NBA. I like all the demos equally but I want peoples opinions on the games.....And if someone has either 2 of the 3 or all 3 and can compare which one they love the most that would be even better

Own all three. All three are nice.

NHL 11 if you an get on a good EASHL team. It has a great franchise mode too for offline play.

NBA2K11 is probably the weakest of the online features of the three, but the strongest of the 3 for offline.

FIFA11 is great all around. It is my game of choice to play with a friend on the same console. We team up against the computer.

Don't have FIFA 11 yet. I normally wait 'til after football. I just don't have enough time.

I do have NHL 11 and NBA 2K11.

Both games are just beyond great. I'm a huge presentation guy. These two and The Show actually feel like I'm watching TV. Except the fact that NHL has no Intermission Report.

I'm glad I'm not faced with this decision. But if I were...I wouldn't be able to pass on 2K. Its said to be maybe the greatest sports game ever. And that may be true.

Better yet. If it were me....I'm so impressed with BOTH games. That I'd get 2K and come back and get NHL whenever I could save the cash.

I wouldn't be able to leave such a game on the shelf.

Well I bought all 3 and put up NBA2K11 on Ebay this week. I'm just not a big enough basketball fan to devote the time to learn the game.

I say pick the game that is your most liked sport of the three.

Buy the one that's the most popular sport...

that way, when you talk about it at the water cooler during with the guys, more might actually care.

I own all 3 and my favourite is NHL 11. I think this one is the most complete Sportsgame out there.

FIFA 11 :

Very Good Game but on a higher Difficultylevel it´s nearly impossible to score more than one Goal because of the highly overpowered Defense in this game. Human Player and AI are nearly unable to score a goal. In my currently Season i played 6 Games and 4 of them ended up 0-0 (worldclass Difficulty because the lower one is to easy).

NBA2K11 :

Also a very good game, but the Season/Associationmode is currently broken, especially the Simengine. Another one is that some Courts are wrong and not realistic but this seems to be a failure of the NBA and not 2K Sports.

It makes no sense at this time to play with a franchise before a patch coming out. For quick games only, it´s a very good game.

NHL 11 :

For me, the best Sportsgame of all time so far. Gameplay,physics and Presentation are simply outstanding. Only complain, the Simengine is little glitchy and the 30 NHL Teams are nearly even in their overall Performance. This results in unrealistic Season Standings (Chicago, Detroit, Pittsburgh miss the playoffs and the Islanders win the Stanley Cup).
I hope the upcoming patch can fix some Statsissues. When so, this Game is YOUR Sportsgame to choice this year, great great job EA !!!!

FIFA 11.

Another great football game. Easy to pick up and play. Without a doubt the weakest of the three in the presentation department. Graphics aren't spectacular but the animations are pretty good.

NHL 11

Good hockey game, offline and online. Presentation is good but a bit stale. The game is tons of fun. The new physics engine is cool even if it's a little basic. HUT mode is very cool and addicting. It also looks pretty good.

NBA 2k11

This one has the best presentation and commentary I've seen in a sports game. It flows great, awesome graphics. Can be very hard for novices (like me).


The thing is all three games are very good. If some of your friends are picking up one of these games, I'd say follow them. Playing sports game with friends is always a blast.
