2k11 is GREAT right out of the box!!!!!

What I'm beginning to see in many forums is that many people our complaining about how hard the game plays and they are constantly losing. I must admit, when I first put the game on, I was getting blown out because I still had bad habits from 2k10. You can't play 2k11 like you played 2k10!!!! You must practice, practice, practice when playing 2k11. My advice is to completely forget how you played in the past and start with a fresh mindset when playing the game. I must say that this is the first sports game in a long time that is playable right out of the box. This has to be the most complete and realistic sports game out there. You have to think like the NBA would think in many game time situations. I have learned to let the game just come to me instead of forcing a drive to the lane. Sometimes its better to just take a jump shot if the dunk is not there. In some situations, playcalling is essential to getting the advanced over the defense.This is my advice to those still trying to learn the game. Now I'm able to advance to allstar because I'm blowing the computer out on pro. Please leave feedback so we can help those still learning!!!!

Yea Ive been getting blown out by 20 and 30 points, I have yet to win a game (though I only played like 5 games). I first started playing on the second to the hardest skill level but I had to back it down to All-Star and I am still getting my butt kicked!! I like it though.

If I were you, I would go back down to pro. I felt when I first got the the game that I could start right off where I left with 2k10. Pro is very difficult, if you don't have the hang of controls or you still are doing 2k10 bad habits. Czar has a couple of Strategy Session & Coaches Corner that maybe helpful....
