I haven't done it, but I'm pretty sure I read that you can. I think its in one of the developer insights. Maybe the one about association.

I went to association and I couldnt find any option for it. Maybe theres a way to edit the rosters before you start to where you can move classic players around.

I haven't looked at the mechanics of creating a team then moving all of one team to it. Create a team comes in association, and I don't think the classic teams are available one in association.

However it is possible to move all the 85-86 Bulls, for example, to the current Bulls roster. Then start an association.

The only possible issue is that the players on those classic teams have no age listed.

I moved the 95-96 Jordan to the Bulls then started an association. Jordan's ratings declined in year 2, and then declined even more in year 3. So it appeared he was being treated as an aging superstar.

Now it's 85-86 Jordan in a new association. We'll see what happens in later seasons as far as ratings changes.

choose custom when making association. you then can pick and choose to swap out teams.

YES! What Seer stated. I added the Sonics, and removed the Raptors and put the Grizz in the Eastern Conference.

This has been talked about so much since the announcements of the classic teams so do you really need to start a thread about it?

You can replace any team in the league in association mode and season mode, just as you could in 2K10. Just choose Customize league then replace the teams you want.

Do a search next time as there's probably 10-20 threads about this same subject.
