Barry Sanders.....Jr.

Was tooling around and found this article up. What do you guys think about this kid based off of the videos provided or anything else you have seen or heard about him?

I personally don't see his style anything close to that of Sr. He looks to be extremely fast, but his style reminds me more of a young AP then it does Barry. Had to tell how good the competition was he was playing against in that highlight film, but a lot of good backs dust people like that in HS. He did appear to have good vision, excellent pad level and good balance, but I didn't see the same quickness in his cuts Sr. had. Good looking young back, but not his dad's level.

Re: Barry Sanders.....Jr.

Just because it's Barry's son doesn't make it fair to compare this kid to his dad.

I've heard he is really interested in FSU, Deion Sanders also has a kid in the 2012 class.

He said in an interview that he wants to visit Columbus sometime in his SR year. I think he has OU, OK ST, or UT written all over it.

I agree, he'll probably do an Arthur Brown type tour before his senior year.

Re: Barry Sanders.....Jr.

It would be nice if he followed his dad's footsteps and go to OK st. but the lure of the bigger name schools will probably grab him.

It will be fun to see where this kid ends up next year. He is going to have more than enough choices. He already as offers from Notre Dame, Florida State, Alabama, UCLA, Oklahoma State, Auburn, Stanford, Tennessee, Texas and Nebraska to name a few.

I'll be shocked if he doesn't go to Okie State.
