Do people actually play 12 min quarters?

I honestly can't understand how people find the time to play 12 min quarter games. Maybe it's because I'm 25, have a wedding to help plan, and work, but even so, 12 min quarter games take generally over an hour to play. I have always done the 5 min quarters, which to some of you probably feels very short. But I enjoy the satisfaction of getting in two games in about 50 minutes or so. So, anyone here honestly play 12 min quarters? I guess I'm just asking out of curiosity more than anything...Thanks!

I usually do around 9 minute quarters. Depends on how you run your offense.

Quality over quantity

That I can understand--quality over quantity. But then doesn't it take a long time for you to finish, say, a season in association (or a season in general), or moving up the ranks in my player? Obviously it is working for you though!

if you want true sim you want 12 munute quarters

I play 12 minute quarters because I can not stand unrealistic stats. Luckily I am just bad enough at the game to get realistic stats for 12 min quarters.

As for the time, good point. That is why I have never finished a season in any sports game ever but as another poster said quality over quantity.

You can easily get true sim out of less than 12 minutes.

I usually run with 10 minutes and I work three jobs, write for OS, and take four classes. I'm super busy, but I find plenty of time for this.
