Video:Kobe vs Lebron 1 on 1

Here is a video where Kobe says he will beat Lebron 1 on 1 in his sleep! What do you guys think? I'm rolling with Lebron as long as he goes to the post game and bodies Kobe he should be able to pull it out. I bet people would pay to see it though!

Meh, who cares. They're not going to play 1-on-1 anyway.

FWIW, I'd take Kobe one on one with just about anyone past or present.

The contest we have missed is MJ vs Kobe. THAT, would be as good as any one on one duel in any sport, in any era.

A guy like Kobe, like MJ, they believe they're the best. Period. What do we expect Kobe to say here?

Re: Video:Kobe vs Lebron 1 on 1

Well his reasoning was actually pretty decent. It is true that a 1 on 1 game fits Kobe's style a lot more than LeBron. But of course he has to pull douchebag and say "I'd do that in my sleep". Child please. I mean yeah Kobe would be the favorite to win, but dude wouldn't be taking LeBron "in his sleep" any day.

Also if the NBA was smart, they'd make this happen Saturday night of All-Star Weekend. Isn't the ASG in LA again this year anyways?

Besides the spelling bee that Artie Lange suggested, I think a 1 on 1 tournament would be the best replacement for the dunk contest. The dunk contest sucks and nobody ever wants to participate. How about an 8 man 1 on 1 tournament where you play to 11 and move on until all three rounds are over. The fans should be able to vote on who participates and participation should be mandatory, barring injury of course. I'd still much prefer the spelling bee idea (seriously) but a 1 on 1 tournament would be awesome. Too bad it will never happen.

Except dude's egos wouldn't dare let the world see them lose one on one to someone and have goofballs like us on message boards pulling out some one on one contest during ASGW as a reason why someone is better than the next. Ego's and marketing firms will NEVER accept something like that. Not to mention the fact if you make it MANDATORY that people participate and dudes don't want to do it, the competition is going to suffer anyway cause there's plenty of clowns who'll dog it intentionally and make the thing unwatchable anyway.

1 on 1 contest would be bad ***. Too many egos in the NBA so I am sure no one would enter. They would all be afraid to lose. It would be so much better than the dunk contest though.
