NBA 2k11 Mods and Patch Questions?

Hello,

I have a question for u guys.... Is their a patch or mod or away to change the commentator's voice In the nba 2k series? Instead of having Kevin Harlin speaking is their a way I could do a voice over with say Marv Alberts voice or Bob Costas? I know their is alot of software out their that let you morph and edit a person's voice but I'm not sure if that sort of thing or software would work? And one more thing Is their away to patch or mod the crowd or sidelines with more camara men and people because the isles in the arena looks empty and dull? I wish someone can do these things? I think if this could be done this will be the most real basketball game ever!

I'd really think with the right skills it's definitely possible. Would be a lot of work trying to find the right commentary from Bob Costas or Marv Albert, but I think it could be done. You'd need to find the file/files for the audio and extract it all then replace it and recompile it. I'm sure it's much more complicated than that, but that's pretty much the basic jist of it.

Thanks for your advice bro..... But I was wondering instead of going into the files of the game was their any kind of software or program that will just run in the background and do it on its own? For example: When Harlin is talking their should be some type of program to read what he is saying automatically? And I should be able to go into the program and edit or sample Alberts voice and it should pick it up and instead of hearing Kevin Harlins voice it would be the sampled voice that I edited into the program or software? Well Im not a patch maker? But I do know it should not be that hard to do...... I wish I knew someone that did know how to do this!!!! If I could get this to work NBA 2k11 will be the best game ever!!!

Not really possible. This would take more work than you could imagine. I don't think anyone has cracked the audio-script relationship yet.

Plus audio files are too big to transfer.

Nice thought but unlikely.

no its not possible, many people have tried over the years on other websites for nba 2k9, nba 2k10 like dewie12 said the audio files would be to big and would not be easy to convert to a IFF file... so i dont think would be possible anytime soon
