PINK!

OK. I get it. It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month -- a worthy cause. Players are wearing pink. Cool. But I'd at least like the option in Madden to not wear pink in an exhibition game. That's why there is an option in Play Now for Breast Cancer Awareness. Go ahead. Fire up a game. You have no choice but to have your players wear pink. There is no option to turn it off.
How long is this going to last? At least let me CHOOSE when I want the teams to wear pink. Ridiculous.

yea i certainly love the option and dont mind it in my season, but this being forced to use pink all october in play now is pretty crappy.

What's the point of having it as an option in the Play Now menu if you are just going to shove it down our throats in October without a choice of turning it off anyway?

I am underwhelmed by Franchise mode this year, and online is a train wreck and has been for years, so I get all my enjoyement from playing in Play Now mode against friends or the CPU. I love the weekly roster updates, love the latest patch and my slider set. I'm getting great games against the CPU and my friends. I am playing out a season in Play Now mode, writing down stats and keeping track of them manually. Great time.
Then they thrust this crap on us. I planned on playing a week in the Breast Cancer Awareness mode anyway. But now I may have to play all month without a choice.
Don't get me wrong. I think it is great they included this in Madden this year. It adds some authenticity to the game. But for crying out loud, don't MAKE me have pink gloves and shoes and a pink ribbon on the ball for a MONTH.

im fine with recognizing breast cancer but ALL my players do not need to have every piece of equipment pink. ALL the players dont wear pink shoes or gloves in october. mix it up, randomly have half team with mix and matched pink stuff, some have shoes, some with gloves, ect...

I have no problem with it to be honest. Makes a change from seeing the same stuff all the time in my opinion. Its called Breast Cancer Awareness for a reason, to raise AWARENESS. I think it's a pretty creative idea.
