pick and roll controls

Hey, Im sure this has already been mentioned somewhere but I havent been able to find it, anyways I was wondering if anyone could help me understand the pick and roll controls, or direct me to a link to read about them.

All I know is pressing L1(ps3) gets someone to set a screen, but theres a little icon above the screener and I dont know if theres anything else to the controls to control what the screener does. Can I choose whether the screener pops or rolls? and how so? Can this be controlled in the demo too or just the full game?

Also, I find the demo when I call for a screen the big will roll but then just stand there instead of continuing towards the basket so when I pass it to them they are stopped and it kills the momentum of sending them to the bucket cause its too slow for them to start moving again. Is there any way to get them to continue the roll towards the basket?

I would also like to know how to change it to say a pick and pop or a slip screen.

Also, there's an icon over for double teams. What do you do with those X's that move? Can you manually initiate a double team like take the offball defender and bring him over? All I could seem to do is stand next to the guy.

oo I know this one, when you press the button to dbl team and that icon comes up, you then press the button for the player you would like to send to double team the ball.

I meant after that. The player you call to double team has a symbol over his head with 2 x's
