F1 2010... How is your online experience going so far

Mine is a mixed bag. It seems that there is a mix of absolute idiots who would rather crash you than get passed by you and some really clean driver, but those guys seem to be the fastest so i cant get up to them enough to challenge them to see if they are clean or not. overall i think online is pretty awesome. i love that they have a feature where you can just drive your line and be able to go through cars. i've had the most fun when the host has that turned on. i just gotta learn more tracks and i think my experience will be much greater

I don't play online because all it takes is one cheeser and it ruins my whole day. I am an offline racer and my experience driving the car would be rated 10/10 but the bugs and issues make enjoying a race impossible. I can never finish a race because I get bored not knowing what's going on around me (no sector times during the race)

it's been great for me so far. there are always one or two here and there but they are for the most part pretty easy to avoid. but since it's a video game, one race will not affect the rest of my day.

360 version.

I wish there was a filter to seach for assists or no assists. Once you do get the to the server list you can see if they are setup to allow assists or not but it wont' tell you exactly how they are setup. I guess that is better than nothing.

It is also nice being able to get a party together first before joining a match. You can select from any of the quick match types and then take your entire party with you.

One quick match type I love is the Qualifying session. Just a straight 20 minutes on the clock with wear enabled. Because everyone is on the same clock you have to drive in and out of the garage. I don't see how you can set this mode up in a private game but I guess you could just get everyone in a party first and then go into this mode. Becuase of the spacing or the mode I have found these rooms have some good guys in it. Most pretty fast but nobody really rude.

The other match type I tried was just the 3 lap quick races. It was the fist night and just wanted to see how things looked. Drivers in these races were a mixed bag. It seemed like a lot of assists where being used. There always seems to be a really fast guy in these races and then half the field that doesn't know the track and quits midway through. Pretty typical. I imagine if you are more selective and get into some of the longer races with assists on custom you will run into better dudes.

Only mode I played was sprint. I won both times. Both time due to others being DQ'd.
