Short Shorts.....Hopefully editable

First off I want to say that I am extremely appreciative of all the hard work put into this game and the great lengths I'm sure the dev team went through to secure rights of historic players and likenesses. Fantastic job it's really a dream come true for this longtime hardcore basketball fan. However the one glaring oversight appears to be of all things shorts length. I know the guys at 2k are some true hoops heads so how John Stockton was given long baggy shorts I will never know......





And not just Stockton is inaccurate, Jeff Hornacek also was notorious for the short shorts....





Also The 1991 and 1992 Bulls should have the same short shorts that the Lakers and Blazers have in the game

Also teams like the 1996 Sonics in fact had shorter shorts as well...



This is from 1993 but gives a good look at the length of Jordan's shorts at the time



I am hoping that the shorts length is editable although indications are that it is not. If that is the case then I am campaigning for a patch to either make it editable or at the least to give the correct shorts lengths to Stockton, Hornacek, and the 1990,1991,and 1992 Bulls teams. We had a gigantic attention to detail in the Jordan challenge thread here at OS for this to be overlooked is disapointing.

There has to be a reason for the the long baggy 2010 shorts on the retro teams. I just wish they would give us an answer so that we could have a better understanding of why they had to do that.

Great post, but unfortunately its all up to chance now. On a related note, i noticed grey silhouettes for the classic teams for the guys who didn't get licensed

hopefully they are, if not, then maybe they can fix the shorts in a patch! the game has been centered around jordan this year, its a shame they cant even get his shorts right on those 90's bulls teams

I'm hopeful that it can be fixed in a patch. I mean 2K does listen to the community they have proven that, and it's appreciated. Look at the centering of LeBron's logo on the headband fiasco. Hoping that the devs see that it's something we want patched if it is not already editable which I am doubting that it is.
