Semi trouble

My shots will never go toward the goal on semi shooting. Don't even get me started about manual.

Why is it so sensitive? I play "sideways" (like if you were playing a friend), so if I don't aim directly right, it goes way wide. Yet if I aim right, then it goes straight to the keeper.

FIFA 11 Demo? How long have you been playing it with shot control at "Semi"?

I actually always play with assisted.

But I realized, I have never made a shot beyond 20m since I started playing Fifa in 09.

I just want to make one long shot, so I started playing with semi and manual to see if I could make long shots. But no dice. On the easiest difficulty, I have shot over 500 long balls, and none have even been close to goals.

I've tried every youtube method. I'm beyond frustrated.

I was going to say, it's just all about practice and lots of patience. As for your predicament with long shots, though, I'm not sure. Too much power, perhaps? It's pretty easy to put them over the goal if you don't get the power just right.

I can only do it every 4-5 games, it's difficult to get down - it depends on the player, distance, and his angle/foot ability - and where you stop on the meter. Try to stop just before you get into the the red, and use practice mode, it helped me (even though I still suck at long bombs)
