#1 Alabama @ #12 Arkansas

You know the channel(Crimson Broadcasting System). Apparently Arkansas is urging fans to wear red to "red out Alabama". Whatever the hell that means. The winner of this game, wins the West division.

Mallett worries me with Alabama's inexperienced secondary. Outside of Barron, I'm not 100% confident in anyone. We controlled Mallett fairly easily last season but with Arenas and Jackson in the secondary.

Our pass rush is another area of concern. I don't know if it's the lack of Upshaw and Dareus or the lack of blitz packages, but we haven't gotten to the QB at all this season. That has to change in order to win this game. Mallett with time will shred our defense.

Offensively, I'm not worried. McElroy will play smart in the passing game and our run game is the best in the nation. We'll put up points. The defense just has to get some stops.

Oddly enough, this will be the first time all season I've been able to watch a full Alabama game live. Baseball season's over so I can finally have a full Saturday to myself. Looking forward to this one as Arkansas is typically the swing game for us.

Re: #1 Alabama @ #12 Arkansas

The outcome of this game depends on the Arkansas defense. I think if they bring their A game the razorbacks can score 35 points. But their defense has shown they are unimproved over last year and against an offense like Bama thats a recipe for disaster. They will really need to step up their game for them to win, because Bama's clock control will keep Arkansas out of the 40's.

Mallet is probably the best QB in your conference and maybe the whole country. You don't have the D you had last year, but I think it's still good enough to keep Alabama in the game. With Ingram back that will help Alabama's chances along with Richardson who is an absolute beast. Mallet will put up offense and keep Arkansas in it, but I don't think they can beat Alabama. 41-34 is my prediction.

We'll shut down their rush attack and make Mallet beat us. He is a big *** target for our defense to attack, get him out of his comfort zone and he'll be throwing the ball to our secondary/coughing up fumbles real quick. Control the game on the ground like usual and we roll to victory. Bama by double digits.

If bama puts good pressure on mallett and gets him to have to use his feet, it might be a long day for arky. I think Arky is very capable of pulling this upset, especially at home. If mallett gets into a rhythm, they can score some big points especially with all the good receivers they have. This is the best game I think we see all year, but thats only of Arky comes to play.

Yes. If Arkansas can win this game, they're legit and can go 5-1 the rest of the way(7-1 wins the West outright this season).

If Alabama wins it, I don't see them doing any worse than splitting with Carolina & LSU. Regardless of what happens Saturday, I don't see anyone beating them at home. So it's possible Alabama could have the West all but wrapped up by mid-October.
