Icon6 getting sacks with Right End?

Anybody have tips to accomplish this? No matter how close I may get to the QB he always releases it. The dive trick doesn't work for some reason. I use Peppers and when I try to dive it happens very slow

Re: getting sacks with Right End?

I've had trouble getting sacks from the RE (4-3) in both in Madden 10 and 11. This is strange, because if I take both the RE and LT and move them to the other side, I get better pressure on the quarterback and more sacks.

I suspect that the RE/LT interaction animation might have something to do with it, but that's just my guess.

However, the quarterback releases the ball at the last second regardless of whether the pressure is coming from his blind side or not, so it has nothing to do with the RE position.

Re: getting sacks with Right End?

Ive got the same problem:
Ive got no problem getting to the quarterback using the LE, but with the RE ive never ever sacked the QB.
Maybe its just because i like to spin to the outside past the RT and then get to the QB and its just the other way round to do it with the RE, but im not sure anymore since you guys have your problems, too.

Re: getting sacks with Right End?

Well Mario has no problems getting sacks. I've been getting a little over a sack a game. (on line and in League play) I don't play the CPU.

Re: getting sacks with Right End?

it's weird because it's almost easier for me to get a sack with a DT like Tommie Harris than it is with Peppers. It's impossible!

If anyone has tips let me know1

Just change your best end to LE.

Re: getting sacks with Right End?

RE sacks are a myth. In my saints franchse i eventually had to move Will Smith from RE to LE, he had 2 sacks through 10 games while Alex Brown had about 9.

I generally only play as a d-linemen tho in big passing situation since it seems tp be easy to cause pressure with a DT or LE
