Definitely on the left DE getting more sacks. I play with KU and my right DE is A LOT better than my left DE but I think he has 1, maybe 2 sacks, compared to like 8 or 9 for my LE. And I've played with them in a couple different OD's and this always happens. And I don't control him either, I play with my MLB. So yes, it is a problem. I don't necessarily think it's a big deal that the LE gets as many sacks as he does, it's that for some reason the RE can never get off his block.

Re: left tackle

nah. its not a big deal but i don't think its fair either cause ill put a highly ranked recruit on one end and he don't even proform and ill put a 3 star on the other end andhe will get tons of sacks wit a low rating at that. i hate that

Re: left tackle

it seems to me that its been that way forever, with this game and Madden. My LDE is always my leader in sacks, no matter how good he is compared to my RDE. In helping this, however, I noticed this year that every time the CPU QB moves in the pocket or scrambles, his first step is to his right, towards the LDE -- so that doesn't help the situation any. I have not seen the CPU QB run to his left at all.

Re: left tackle

It has been that way since I can remember concerning the LE always outperforming the RE.

It's odd, in every football game that I've ever played, I think that I've always gotten better pressure from the left end.. it's gotten to the point that I chose that position like 80% of the time when I pick guys on the line.

One thing that's much improved in NCAA is DT pressure. DT's actually get sacks, which is great.

Re: left tackle

I agree with the LE getting more sacks. I think the user makes a good point about the QB's scrambling to their right which makes sense because most QB's in the game are right handed and tend to roll to their dominate throwing hand (like in real life).

I also think that in general teams put their best tackle in the LT spot. This leaves a worse blocker at RT. Also in real football RT are generally bigger and better run blockers than pass blockers. I don't know whether this logic has been implemented in the game but it could also contribute to this phenomenon.
