Just want to get this clarified. If I use "ask coach" in playcall is it using what is set in the playcall philosophy? So if set to OC playcall it will use the OC's skill set when calling plays? And if set to head coach it will use his skill set?

I'm pretty sure the HC skillset has no effect in playcalling, unless you call your own plays. Most of the time you go with what the Coordinators have called.
