My imagination or has the Defense arrived

Just yesterday I downloaded the recent roster update, and I played a few games on default All Pro. To my confusion my defenders where making plays on the ball, tipping passes, and somewhat covering the slots and HB's out of the backfield.

Anyone else notice the defense seems to be a bit more aware? I will play a few more games to check.

Must be a shared hallucination then because I swear it played better for me after the roster update yesterday. I think they slipped in those ratings adjustments Ian was talking about to help address the defense issues, too many broken tackles, etc. Played really nice! More like M10.

That also explains why they did a mid-preseason roster update. I was thinking there would not be another one till Week 1.

This explain why on Twitter both Donny and Ian both typed "what we think"? So maybe there were some rating adjustments to help the D; in which I say to them thanks.
